IPCA Monitor [R]

This project generates an interactive dashboard that monitors the Broad Consumer Price Index (IPCA) with data fed directly from IBGE through the SIDRA API. The dashboard is updated monthly according to the API and evaluates the IPCA total series and its 9 components since Dec/2012.

The entire project was built with R, guided by the philosophy of the Golem package from ThinkR.

Future Plans

  • Add the IGPM index.

    I would like to compare the IPCA and IGPM indices, but I haven’t found a public source for IGPM yet. If you know one, I would be grateful if you shared it.
